Mark Hausman

Mark has had a love of horses for as long as he can remember. Growing up in a South Texas border town, his passion was fueled by everything “Cowboy”! Rodeos, roping, gathering cattle and all of the things that go along with it. Horsemanship has always intrigued him, and his early mentors planted a seed that has grown into a continued search for knowledge of “anything horse”.

Starting young horses for over 30 years has given way to many opportunities to learn as much as possible about many, many different equine disciplines, and the people who enjoy them. This unique, diverse education has given him the opportunity to help people and horses of every breed, and every discipline excel in their horsemanship gaining many World, National and Regional Championships in dozens of events.

Marks current path has him travelling the country giving mostly private clinics, lessons, demo’s and seminars to some of the leading Dressage trainers in the U.S. His ability to communicate with horses and the people he works with have proven that “Good Horsemanship is Universal” and transcends breed, discipline, or money. Mark’s wit, sense of humor and easy to understand methods have entertained horse people for many years!
