Jerry King - Problem Horses 
     With over 40 years of experience in breaking and training horses of all ages, breed and size, Jerry King of Jerry King Training in Parkton, NC has accomplished quite the resume in the equestrian industry. Jerry was the 1997 World Champion and Reserve Champion in the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) Cutting competition. He took the championship title again in 2010 riding, and in 2012 and 2013 he was Reserve Champion. 
Before his success in Cutting competitions starting in 1997, Jerry showed and won in the Western Pleasure and Reining worlds as well. 
     To add to his accomplishments, Jerry was the 2003 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Congress Cutting Champion and the Reserve Champion in 2011. In 2016, Jerry was a World Champion at the APHA World Show and was the Champion of Congress at the Ranch Sorting National Championships (RSNC).  With over 40 years of experience riding and training cutting horses, green breaking and problem solving, Jerry feels one of his most significant accomplishments as a horse person is he has ridden and trained all breeds in his business, including Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Paints, Driving Horses, Arabians and more. “Even though I’ve been very successful in the show pen, I feel that God has been my leader in my business,” says King, “and I am blessed to have horses to train and show on a daily basis.” 
Taylor McIntosh - 
     Taylor McIntosh is an AQHA Professional Horseman.  He has dedicated his life to helping others become confident in their horsemanship.  He has spent time learning from the best of the best, Al Dunning, JD Yates, Craig Cameron, and Bill Black, to name a few.  Taylor is a Clinician, Trainer, Competitor, and lifelong student of the horse.  He specializes in Colt Starting, Competitive Trail Horses, and Rope Horses.  In 2014 Taylor put his training program to the ultimate test by applying it to a young, untouched, American Mustang, that he named Owen.  Taylor and Owen built a true partnership and when the dust settled they were crowned Champion of the Extreme Mustang Makeover.  Owen travels with Taylor, giving clinics, demonstrations, and private lessons.  Taylor's dedication to horsemanship is evident in his use of the Hackamore.  He has coined the phrase, "Get out of their mouth and into their mind".
David King - Ranch Sorting

David King, owner of 5K Arena, runs his self-made business located in Bladenboro, NC while maintaining the title of a real life Professional Cowboy.

               David’s father trained cutting horses for 58 years; growing up in a cutting horse family, David and his brothers actively competed in youth cutting events at an early age. They assisted their father with training on a daily basis.  Because of his upbringing, David is a lifelong competitor at the national level in Team Penning and Ranch Sorting events.

               David has received many honors in the equestrian industry including numerous state, regional and national titles in the United States Team Penning Association (USTPA), the Dixie Region Team Penning Association (DRTPA), the National Ranking System, the Ranch Sorting and Team Penning Association, and the Ranch Sorting National Championships (RSNC).  A member of several important equine associations, David has served as a regional mentor for the USTPA and has served on the board of directors. He also served on the board of directors for the DRTPA and was the larges show producer on the East Coast for the RSNC. David has qualified for World and National finals for all of these associations numerous times. “I’m always quick to stress the importance of proper horsemanship in conjunction with being able to read cattle,” says David, “Both are absolutely essential.”

Joe Williams - Trailer Loading, General Problem Solving, Trail Obstacles and Bridleless Riding
Joe Williams is the owner and operator of Brokewell Farm in Ocala, Florida.  Joe’s business tailors towards working with all breeds of horses and equine disciplines. He has been starting horses for over 14 years and is most known for his work with mustangs and for participating in Extreme Mustang Makeover competitions.  Many of the horses Joe starts go on to win world titles in American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) events, including Hunterseat, Western Pleasure, Reining and Driving divisions.
                Joe Williams has earned many titles including Mustang Makeover Championship 2010 Champion, Reserve Champion in 2009 and 2015. Joe also won the Ultimate Horsemans Challenge as well as many championships in the Green Hunters Division.  Joe is a proud member of the Mustang Heritage Foundation (MHF) and is also a member of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and the AQHA.  Specializing in colt starting, Joe focuses on creating a better foundation and understanding between horse and rider.
Jesse Chase - Mechanics of Lead Changes and Lateral Movement, Extension and Collection,  Fundamentals of  Ground Poles 

With over 20 years of experience in training, coaching and showing reining horses, Jesse Chase is the owner and operator of Jesse Chase Performance Horses in Wendell, NC.  Jesse is a reining, working cow horse and ranch riding trainer, as well as a clinician and judge. Having accumulated an esteemed show record, Jesse has received several titles.  He was the 2016 US National Champion of Arabian Reining, was in the Quarter Horse Congress Top Ten in Open Reining in 2014 and was the 2006 American Paint Horse Association (APHA) Reserve World Champion.

               Additionally, Jesse was a two-time Top Ten Working Cow Horse competitor and coached a United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Youth Gold Medalist in reining.      Jesse has coached riders to numerous regional, national and world titles in reining and works with multiple breeds of horses, including Quarter Horses, Arabians and Half Arabians, Paints and Warmbloods.  A member of several equine associations, Jesse has served as a judge for the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) for 14 years and has served as the Southeast Regional Director for four years.  He was also a past judge for the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) and is an active member in the American Quarter Horse Association, the Arabian Horse Association, the American Paint Horse Association, and the United States Equestrian Federation.

               “I feel that my ‘specific area of expertise’ is instruction,” says Jesse. “Whether it is the horse or the rider, my program and curriculum is tailor made for each individual’s needs. No matter what level a horse or rider are at, I am confident I can make that rider a better horseman and the horse a more functional mount for that horseman and again, no matter the breed or discipline.”

Rebecca Bowman - Hunter Jumper Techniques
Rebecca Bowman, a native of Australia where she grew up eventing, playing polocrosse and even as a jockey on her family’s horses. She worked for ten years training Thoroughbreds for second careers in Kentucky, and held a jockey’s license.

Rebecca has extensive experience & in-depth knowledge focusing on Dressage and Eventing. She has evented through the intermediate level both in the US and Australia. Rebecca has competed in 4 Extreme mustang Makeover competitions and was one of 26 trainers who competed in the 2013 Thoroughbred Makeover. She recently competed with Lindsay in Bogota, Colombia at Club Campestre Guaymaral, an FEI show in the Open class, and took home 8th overall. She is the owner and manager of North Atlanta Equestrian in Cartersville, Georgia where she lives with her daughter Sarah.

Brock Griffith - Horsemanship
Brock owns BG Horsemanship in Denver, NC where he trains and teaches with his wife Leisha Griffith. 

Fifteen years ago, Brock Griffith traded a bull riding career to pursue his dream of working with horses. He immersed himself in the study and practice of natural horsemanship, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in this methodology and confidence in its application. His unique style is inspired by a variety of influences, personal experience, and an open mind. Brock is a talented horseman, trainer and clinician with an extraordinary ability to communicate effectively with both horses and their human partners.

Brock has won multiple colt starting competitions since 2008 and have successfully helped many horse and rider partnerships achieve their dreams through communication and understanding. Brocks passion for horses shows through the look in his eye, and with every horse he touches.

Leisha Griffith - Better Barrel Racing
Leisha is an accomplished horsewoman, with a long history in ranching and rodeo. She specializes in barrel racing, equitation, and performance horses. Her passion is not only to continue her development as a student of the horse, but to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Leisha is an insightful, entertaining, inspirational clinician and horsemanship instructor.

Kristin Yde - Professional Barrel Racing

Kristin Yde is from Benson NC and has ridden her entire life. Her dad always wanted horses and so she lucked out by growing up on a small horse farm. Kristin first began riding English and doing some jumping, and then at the age of 11 switched to barrels, it was an instant addiction! 

Kristin trains horses and teaches lessons on the side, anything to support her ambitions and get her to the next rodeo! Her best known horse is Smack (Smokin' Mack Frost). Kristin is a member of the SRA, SEBRA and Carousel Farms series, and enjoys that she can often travel in a group. Kristin turned pro in 2016 and competed in the American Rodeo in 2017. Kristin holds multiple titles and records. She continues to build her resume and will be talking with barrel racers about turning pro. Kristin is also a contributing editor to Southeast Hoofbeats magazine.

James Cooler - 

James Cooler of Hampstead, NC is the owner and operator of his business Cooler Horsemanship, LLC.  An active Road To The Horse (RTTH) competitor, James has worked with almost all breeds of horses. His experience ranges from colt starting and basic horsemanship skills, to riding, competing and training horses in Team Roping and Ranch Riding.  He has held over 100 clinics, taught thousands of lessons and worked with thousands of horses as a RTTH competitor.  James will be participating in the Colt Starting showcase, held at the Everything Equine Expo presented by Cushing Media Productions, LLC on August 26 and 27.

               In 2014 and 2015, James was a RTTH World Championship Competitor, and is a participating member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).  "The Cooler Horsemanship Program is an all around horsemanship program designed to help all horse enthusiasts,” says James. “From Colt Starting to performance development, CH gives you and your horse the best horsemanship experience possible.”
